The Korea Machine Tool Industry Association announced on the 28th that it had held its 2014 regular general meeting at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Samseong-dong, Seoul and unanimously appointed Jong-hyeon Nam, chairman of Nam Seon Ki Gong, as the 16th president.

With this, Chairman Son will lead the association for the next three years.

Chairman Son, founded in 1950, is the chairman of Nam Seon Machinery (located in Daedeok, Daejeon), which has grown into a third-generation machine tool manufacturing company. He has greatly contributed to the development of the domestic machine tool industry. I am also doing my job.

In his greetings, Chairman Son expressed his gratitude to the member companies, saying, “The events of the past three years have passed like a lantern.

In addition, he said, “I will continue to work hard for the member industry without losing my original intention as in the past three years,” he said. We will do our best to reflect and maximize member service.”

Meanwhile, at the regular general meeting of the day, two auditors whose terms had expired were also appointed. Nam Gung-yeon, president of Fanuc Korea, was re-appointed as the next auditor, and Kwon Jeong-hyeon, who resigned as the auditor, was appointed as a director. Lee Jong-pan, President of EWS Korea, was elected as the successor of Auditor Kwon.
